Washington State Library's collection of Ye Galleon Press records and correspondence, 1985-2004.

This collection consists of some of the correspondence between Glen Adams, publisher and owner of Ye Galleon Press, and librarians of the Washington/Northwest Room at the Washington State Library (WSL). The correspondence ranges from 1985 through 2004. Some of the librarians he corresponded with were Jeanne Engerman Crisp, Gayle Palmer and Shirley Lewis. There is a copy of the condolence letter that Jan Walsh, State Librarian, sent at the time of Mr. Adams death. There is a Ye Galleon Press bookmark along with some (1992/1993, 1994/1995, 2000/2001, 2001/2002) of the book lists (catalog) of books that were available for sale. Information of note is that throughout Mr. Adams' correspondence he mentions his printing equipment and in the letter dated 19 June 2000 he describes the history of his printing machinery.
